Tournament Details

Shotgun starts at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. (teams have the option of choosing which time they would like to play)

 

New for 2019: Teams are comprised of 3 amateurs and 1 professional

 

Format: Team score = 1 Gross & 1 Net. There will also be a $15,000 professional purse, with the low professional winning $5,000.

$750 per amateur

 

Charitable Donation

The Kentucky Golf Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The tax-deductible portion of your contribution is limited to the excess of money contributed over the value of goods and services provided to you by the Kentucky Golf Foundation.  The fair market value of goods and service provided by the Kentucky Golf Foundation will be detailed in a memo sent post event.

 

Format

Teams of four (1 pro and 3 amateurs) will compete against all teams in a net and gross competition.  Each participant will play their own ball in a better ball of the foursome team.  USGA Handicap Indexes will be used.

 

Schedule - Monday, August 5th

7:00 am – Registration and practice facilities open (Breakfast available)

7:45 am – Opening Ceremonies

8:00 am – Morning Shotgun Start

12:00 pm – 2:30 pm – Lunch by Texas Roadhouse

1:45 pm – Afternoon Shotgun Start

6:30 pm – H’orderves and closing ceremony

 

What is Youth on Course?

Youth on Course (YOC) has grown into a nationwide organization providing more than 40,000 young golfers with what they need most – access to affordable golf. Using the programs below, YOC provides youth with life-changing opportunities through golf. Youth on Course members always play for $5 or less at participating courses. More than 600 courses across the country partner with YOC to offer unused rounds to golf’s next generation. YOC has subsidized over 620,000 total rounds, of which 115,000 were in 2017.
